We are looking for an experienced QA Team Lead to drive testing excellence, lead QA teams, and ensure the delivery of reliable and high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end QA activities, including test planning, execution, and release validation.
- Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Perform and oversee Functional, Regression, System, and UI testing.
- Lead testing for AI/ML-based features, ensuring output accuracy and expected behavior.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA.
- Ensure effective UI and usability testing to maintain product quality.
- Coordinate testing activities within the QA team and ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and AI teams to validate application functionality.
- Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support client validation activities.
- Provide regular testing status reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 1 year of experience leading or coordinating QA teams.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in Manual Functional and System Testing.
- Proven experience in UI and Usability Testing.
- Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
- Hands-on experience with Test Management and Defect Tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in Regression, Integration, and System Testing.
AI Skills (Required):
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and workflows.
- Experience testing AI-driven features such as chatbots, recommendation systems, or prediction models.
- Ability to validate AI outputs and data accuracy.
- Familiarity with testing AI-based workflows and responses.
Leadership & Collaboration Skills:
- Experience leading QA teams (2–5 members).
- Ability to mentor junior testers and review test artifacts.
- Strong task management and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple testing cycles and deadlines.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Client Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with clients during UAT and release cycles.
- Capability to communicate testing progress, risks, and quality insights clearly.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with API Testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
- Basic understanding of data quality validation in AI-based systems.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB are an advantage.
